CRAFTER-NOON: Sparkling Watercolors

 Sunday, September 14th, 2025 from 2-4 pm

Join us for a CRAFTER-NOON—a welcoming, relaxed workshop series for creative adults (16+). In September, Sanchez Studio Artist Janet Barker will guide you through use of – Sparkling Watercolors.

You will transform a photograph into a radiant watercolor using Janet’s “Glow, Sparkle, Flow” technique. You’ll layer metallic and pearlescent paints to create shimmery, dynamic effects that reveal different colors as you move the piece, or change lighting.

Materials provided: watercolor paper, shimmering pans, metallic colors, brushes, and printed photo reference.

Take-away: A luminous 5″×7″ painting plus a hand-out listing art materials and layering techniques for watercolor exploration at home.
